Bluegrass News
Back with a bang for Dublin Horse Show 2022. The sun shone, and the crowds came from far and wide to visit the prestigious show.
We had a brilliant week meeting customers both new and old, offering feeding advice and experiencing world class sport on our back door. The show is truly a pinnacle of the Irish sport horse calendar.
A huge well done to all competitors and a special well done to our #PoweredbyBluegrass horses. Seainin Mahon aboard General Principle the 2018 Irish Grand National winner took home the winning rosette in the racehorse to riding horse class against fellow stable mate Tiger Roll who placed 3rd. Kerry Taggart’s and Roz Collier Hindley’s Jordan’s Sunray Celebrity took 1st place in the yearling’s filly likely to become a sport horse class and then went on to place 3rd overall. Aidan Williamson placed 1st in lightweight mare’s class with Ballard Jewel and 3rd in the 2-year-old middle weight class with KSF Spotlight. Ryan Sweetnam won the 1.25-1.30m young rider’s class with Gymolga. Young rider Katie Wyse took second place in the Connemara Performance class with Illaunurra Bay.
We just want to say a huge thanks to everyone that called on to the stand. We also want to say thanks to the organisers at Dublin Horse Show as without them the whole thing wouldn’t be possible.
