Bluegrass Horse Feeds are delighted to sponsor the Schools Team Show Jumping Open Championship at Balmoral Show for a third year.
School show jumping teams across Northern Ireland are preparing to compete at their local qualifiers to be in with chance of jumping in the main arena at Balmoral show on Saturday 18th May at 8.30am.
The four-day show running from 15th to 18th May, will host the Schools Show Jumping Open Championship on Saturday morning. Bluegrass Horse Feeds will be sponsoring this class for a third year which is always entertaining to watch, with a competitive atmosphere from the teams and their supporters.
The winning school will be awarded the Bluegrass Horse Feeds Perpetual Trophy, a guided tour around the Bluegrass mill and Bluegrass Horse Feeds branded merchandise. There will also be prizes awarded to the best turned out team at the championship.
Five teams from the Ulster Region (includes Cavan, Monaghan and Donegal) and five teams for the rest of the Republic of Ireland will be eligible to compete in the championship at Balmoral Show.
For schools in the Ulster Region, a total of five qualifiers will be held in various Equestrian Centres starting 12th January and the last held on Monday 1st April. The top School team in the Open Class at each qualifying show will qualify and will also win a Bluegrass Horse Feeds goodie bag.

16th March - Meadows Equestrian Centre - Friends School Lisburn
24th March - Lusk Equestrian - Dungannon Royal School
1st April - Drumragh Intergrated College (Ecclesville Equestrian Centre, Fintona)
