The Irish Thoroughbred Breeders Association (ITBA) Northern Region Awards ceremony took place on Friday 25^th of October, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Belfast. 

The association showcases annually the achievements of the Irish Breeding industry through its National Breeding and Racing Awards ceremonies. This is a wonderful night to celebrate the dedicated work and success of Thoroughbred Breeders in Northern Ireland. This year’s winners hail from all over Northern Ireland and were kindly supported and awarded by important equine organisations throughout Ireland. Awards were presented to honour and acknowledge achievements of Irish bred horses in both Flat and National Hunt disciplines from the 2019 season on a global stage.

Bluegrass Horse Feed have been involved in sponsoring an award at this prestigious event annually. This year the Bluegrass sponsored award went to the leading point to point horse ‘Hi Murphy’ who was bred and owned by Mr. Peter Murphy.
