Balmoral show is the biggest agricultural show in Northern Ireland attracting visitors from the length & breadth of Ireland. The show hosts many equestrian events including international show jumping, star of the future classes, working hunter and much more. Bluegrass Horse Feed are proud to be a sponsor but also a trade stand holder at the show.

On Saturday morning of the show, the main arena hosts the final of the Bluegrass Schools Team Show Jumping Championship were 10 qualifying teams from across Ireland compete to be presented the Bluegrass Horse Feeds trophy.

As always, the competition was fierce, both last year’s champions Omagh Academy and Foyle college, Balmoral first timers, both ended on a 0 score. Inevitably the results were determined from the teams jump off scores crowning Foyle College the 2023 Bluegrass School Show Jumping Champions.

Foyle College then also went on to be crowned the overall winners of the Tack & Turnout competition.

A huge well done to everyone who took part in this year’s competition, and we look forward to another years exciting competition for the 2024 Bluegrass School Show Jumping Championship.
