Gavin Cromwell’s Gold Cup Glory
One of the standout moments of the festival was Gavin Cromwell’s triumph in the Gold Cup Chase (G1) with Inothewayurthinkin. Piloted by Mark Walsh, the horse delivered a commanding performance, securing one of the most prestigious titles in jump racing. This victory further cements Cromwell’s reputation as one of the leading trainers in the sport, with a career-defining moment at Cheltenham.
Day 2
- Gavin Cromwell celebrated a thrilling win with Stumpton in the Cross Country Chase, ridden by Keith Donoghue.
- Cian Collins secured victory in the Grand Annual Challenge Cup Handicap with Jazzy Matty, guided home by Danny Gilligan.
Day 3
- Henry De Bromhead enjoyed a standout day with Air Of Entitlement winning the Mares' Novices' Hurdle (G2), and Bob Olinger claiming the prestigious Stayers' Hurdle (G1), both under the expert ride of Rachael Blackmore.
- Paul Nolan added to the success with Daily Present in the Challenge Cup Amateur Jockeys' Handicap Chase, ridden by Barry Stone.
Day 4
- Sam Curling saw Wonderwall triumph in the Challenge Cup Open Hunters Chase with Rob James in the saddle.
- Gordon Elliott rounded off the festival in style as Wodhooh, ridden by Danny Gilligan, took victory in the Conditional Jockeys Handicap Hurdle.
