Bluegrass Horse Feeds are hosting an equine nutrition and health road show across Ireland from 6^th to 13^th June 2019. Covering five venues across Ireland, each venue will host a free weight clinic and evening educational talk.

The Bluegrass equine nutrition and health road show is aimed to be an educational event for all horse owners and industry professionals. Guest speakers within the industry are set to speak across the five venues including Kentucky Equine Research nutritional advisor, Catherine Whitehouse. Topics including muscle health, fitness, gastric ulcers and feeding the convalescent horse will be complimented by demonstrations of the anatomical structures and locomotion of the muscles and the location of the digestive tract.

Each venue will hold a free weight clinic during the daytime, for a chance to get an accurate weight recording of your horse through the Bluegrass Horse Feed weigh bridge, tailored diet plans, nutritional consultations and worm egg counts supplied by EFEC Nutrition.

Portmore Equestrian Centre is the first venue on 6^th June, with the evening talk starting at 6.30pm supported by CAFRE College. Kentucky Equine Research nutritional advisor, Catherine Whitehouse will join the Bluegrass Horse Feed team and speak at each event alongside guest speakers. Catherine will be performing tailored diet plans through the Kentucky Equine Research software Microsteed complimented by nutritional consultations. The first weight clinic will be available at Portmore Equestrian Centre on 7^th June from 1.30pm to 4pm. The team then heads off to Annaharvey Farm in County Offaly for the second weight clinic and talk on 10^th June, Galway Equestrian Centre 11^th June, Limerick Racecourse 12^th June, finishing up at Ballinamona Equestrian Centre, Country Waterford 13^th June.
