The British Equestrian Trade Association (BETA) is running its BETA Feed Awareness week campaign from 27th March to 4th April 2021.
BETA launched the feed awareness week in 2018, focusing on equine welfare and helping to support horse owners with nutritional advice. They have teamed up with BETA retail and feed members across the UK to help educate horse owners on good feeding practices and dispel feeding myths.
Bluegrass Horse Feed is proud to be a BETA NOPS registered member. NOPS stands for naturally occurring prohibited substances and the assurance scheme has been developed to help reduce the risk of naturally occurring prohibited substances in equine feed. Participating companies undergo regular audits to ensure they are complying with the rules and regulations of the scheme. Look out for the BETA NOPS code logo on participating feed company packing, including all Bluegrass Horse Feed products.
Quality assurance is an important element of the manufacturing process of Bluegrass Horse Feed, we can assure our customers that the best quality raw ingredients are sourced and tested before becoming part of your horse's feed. All our products undergo routine testing and samples are recorded for future testing and audits. We work hard on this and we are proud to have all of our products BETA NOPS approved, from our performance range to our economic feeds.
As part of the BETA Feed Awareness Week, Bluegrass Horse Feed will be releasing a feeding fact each day and BETA will be hosting a competition on their Facebook page to be in with a chance of winning Bluegrass Horse Feed goodies.
