To kick off the new year, Bluegrass Horse Feeds will be taking their followers "Behind the Success" of our Brand Ambassadors, Sponsored Riders, Trainers and Bluegrass Fed Champions. The series will look at what it takes to be successful and how correct nutrition plays an important role.
Part one of the Bluegrass Horse Feeds, "Behind the Success" series, starts with a question and answer session from Brand Ambassador Suzanne Posnett.
1: What’s your favourite horse you’ve ever ridden?
That would have to be Karmijn. She gives me her all & wants to win as much as me
2: What horse would you like to have in your stables?
I am very happy to have Foesuela in my stables, a lot of big names want her in their stables!!
3: If you weren’t a showjumper what would you like to be?
I would be using my business degree.
4: Favourite horseshow?
Portmore Equestrian Centre are hosting fantastic shows in their super indoor & outdoor areas. They are defiantly raising the standard of show jumping in the north.
5: Do you prefer the Greatest Showman or Les Mis soundtrack?

6: What’s the one thing in your tack room you can’t be without?
My Olvossa sparkle!!
7.Have you any routines or habits before you go in the ring?
I always check the girth one last time when I enter the arena
8: Do you have any other hobbies or sport interests?
After I finish the yard I go walking in the evenings. It keeps my fitness level up, lets me relax & make plans for the next day
9: Name one competition that you really want to win?
I would like to win a National Grand Prix
10: What’s your favourite Bluegrass Horse Feed Product?
It has to be Stamm 30, it has the horses skins glowing.
11: When did you start riding?
I started riding at two and a half years of age and got my first pony at three . My parents said I was happier on a pony than in a pram!
12: First pony’s name?
Smokey
13: What’s your proudest achievement so far?
In 2016 I competed at Auvers 2* in France. Over the 2weeks Zinniz Roundthorn won 5 out of the 6 classes. She was an amazing mare who I was privileged to ride.
